Who is Wonder Woman?

NBC released a photo last week of Adrianne Palicki in the new Wonder Woman costume for the upcoming series pilot. Since you all know I am a huge WW fan, here’s my take.Palicki looks hot and her tits look great but from where I’m sitting, she’s not buying what she’s selling. She looks like she could be the youngest member of the PussyCat Dolls, background extra #29 on the Big Bang Theory’sHalloween special,  or your best friends girlfriend you saw naked on his iphone last week after he bragged about how soft her fake tits were.Just another pretty Hollywood actress getting paid to walk in the blue boots of a Superhero whose been stripped of her patriotism and class.

Let’s face it, Lynda Carter is and will always be Wonder Woman. When she appeared on the screen in the 1970’s, with her red bustier, star spangled blue booty shorts, red bitch boots and golden lasso-you knew she was coming to woop some man ass!! Whether she was in costume as the iconic comic book character or undercover as a US government agent, Diana Prince, she served as an emblem of female strength and represented the new feminism to a generation of playboy bunnies.
In 2011, the new Wonder Woman is in the hands of David E Kelly, the creator of Ally Mcbeal, one of the most socially awkward, boyfriend obsessed, bi polar, over educated, neurotic, annoying characters on TV. Which mean’s, keep your expectations low….VERY low for the upcoming pilot.  Since “the guy who killed feminism is reviving Wonder Woman than let’s go back to the Suffering Sappho’s roots and make sure we remember why she was born in the first place and who the real man is that created her.
Dr. William Marston-inventor of the polygraph test, pyschologist, and creator of The Wonder Woman.
William Marston  was the inventor of the polygraph test, a psychologist,a comic book fan and a polygamist. He discovered after testing the polygraph on Elizabeth, one of his wives,  the systolic blood pressure theory. A theory that women are more honest and reliable than men and could work faster and more accurately. According to Marston’s son, it was his mother Elizabeth, Marston’s wife, who suggested to him that ‘When she got mad or excited, her blood pressure seemed to climb’.

He created Wonder Woman in the 1940’s after he was struck by an idea for a new kind of superhero, one who would triumph not with fists or firepower but with love. His wife Elizabeth said,“Fine, but make her a woman.” His other wife, Olive, was the inspiration for the Amazon warriors appearance.

He believed that the comics served as a great educational tool for kids and wrote in a 1943 issue The American Scholar, the need for a female superhero.

“Not even girls want to be girls so long as our feminine archetype lacks force, strength, and power. Not wanting to be girls, they don’t want to be tender, submissive, peace-loving as good women are. Women’s strong qualities have become despised because of their weakness. The obvious remedy is to create a feminine character with all the strength of Superman plus all the allure of a good and beautiful woman”.

Who is Wonder Woman? She is the woman we become when we are at our best and brightest and strongest.  She is our role model and will be for a lifetime.

Fuck NBC, David E Kelly and whoever else wants to mess with her. We know who she really is and that’s all that matters.

I’m peacing out of blogger now cause it’s having technical difficulties and driving me nuts….check out the videos below for more history on Wonder Woman.

Love to my amazon warriors out there-chasing their dreams despite the obstacles they face, with or without a costume on.
